Comments: I had an emergency situation in my home this week and was referred to your company through a friend. Help promptly arrived and “help” it truly was. Shawn Berube was my plumber and his professionalism and work ethic was truly exceptional. Actually, I sense that Shawn went above and beyond to remedy my problem. Anyone experiencing a plumbing problem would be most fortunate to have Shawn Berube and Emerald Plumbing show up at their front door.

Work Description: Repaired a water line leak between house and water meter in front yard in Woodbridge, VA.

Comments: Emerald's operations manager contacted us immediately after you had notified us of your recommended contractors. Completely professional, from estimator through work crews, Emerald Plumbing performed a thorough job as promised. They encountered unexpected problems with the original water line and had to dig more than usual, but the work teams worked all day each day, to complete the job. They were prompt, respectful, competent, cheerful, and clean even though they had the wind and cold, rainy weather to deal with. The work was interrupted by Christmas, but they were back right away to finish it completely as soon as they could. The basement had to be drilled for the old and new water lines, but the work team kept the work area as clean as possible and replaced the dryer and vent tubing the next day after the cement had dried. They also replaced the soil in the yard where they had to dig and the lawn was put back in as good shape as possible. We are very pleased and plan to use them again from now on.

Work Description: Leak in between walls of two units (houses)

Comments: Mr. Don Fields came to my house and cut a small square out of my laundry room wall, we saw water running down the wall of the house next door, Mr. Fields said it had to be their leak because my wall was dry, water was trickling down the wall next door. Mr. Fields said water doesn't jump across to the other wall, it had to be on that side. I told Mr. Fields that the man next door had been installing new toilets and fixtures (himself is not a plumber). Also until Mr. Fields found this leak, I had had approximately 5 different plumbers out, all of them, including WSSC, said it was NOT my leak because my water meter was not moving and my water bill was UNDER use not OVER, (which would be the case if I had a leak.) A couple days later Mr. Fields was hired by the man next door to fix his bathtub because it was installed wrong, and was leaking. Once Mr. Fields fixed his tub, my laundry room was dry and my carpet in my front room dried out. Mr. Archie (next door) came over my house to look at the wall Mr Fields cut a hole in and saw the water running down HIS wall, he told my son he would pay for any damages. Now today he is saying my leak caused damages to his house and floor and walls, and wants me to pay for his damages. Mr. Fields please step up for me if he takes me to court, and tell them it was his leak, NOT MINE that caused his damage. I never asked him for a dime when everyone said it was his fault, now he wants me to pay him for his own leak, he caused by not hiring a plumber and doing it himself. I planned on paying for my damages his leak did, myself, he should pay for his own damages his leak did.
