Work Description: Install gas valve in anticipation of new stove...bring up to code. Worker was great...very polite and efficient...but...the problem with the water heater colored my whole experience...might or might not have been his workmanship...you did need to hold the knob down for a full minute so it would stay lit...if it was re-lit?
Comments: Price quoted over phone 125.00 185.00 Charged 185.00 top price Not sure why. Later found that there was no hot water in the house. Called the company who assured me that the worker had re-lit the water heater. Hurricane told me it was probably the fault of the "old" heater and most likely needed a new part. I'm not very handy but it was 6pm at night Hurricane offered to send a man back out but I read the directions and lit the pilot on my own and now the water is hot and all systems are "go" This took me over an hour because I was very nervous about the gas issue. Also this is not my home but I am caring for the property and this problem meant another trip to the home in addition to being there in the morning for the valve job.

Work Description: Replaced plungers and flippers in two toilets assessed dripping shower.
Comments: Fixed toilets advised that to fix shower would involve extensive replacement of pipes and that unless I was prepared for renovation I should wait.
