Work Description: Replacing a wax seal on a toliet that has been leaking for 2 years with possible damage to the subflooring in the bathroom due to a leaky toilet and ceiling and mold growing in the powder room directly below. All this was explained to Jim.

Comments: Jim was polite over the phone when making the appointment but after he arrived and evaluated the situation he wanted to replace the wax seal on a toilet for $250. I have replaced numerous toilet seals and know what replacing a toilet seal involves so when I asked him what else he was planning on doing and that was going to be it. So he wants to charge you $250 to replace a seal before assessing if the subflooring needs to be replaced. When I began to ask him about the subflooring he cut all communication ties and left the house. If the subflooring needs to be replaced so will the work he wanted to do for $250 dollars.
