Work Description: Yolanda Ortega contacted me immediately after I placed my inquiry with networx. She was the first to call. Mike Ortega arrived in several hours as agreed upon. He mounted my new Moen kitchen sink single stem fixture, installed new water lines under the sink, and reconnected my garbage disposal, two new sink drain and reconnected the water lines in less than two hours.
Comments: At first, Yolanda suggested Mike would give me a free estimate for the job. Having been burned earlier in the morning by an outrageous job estimate from Aramendia Plumbing (hence the contact with networx), I insisted on time and materials. Mike quoted $75/first hour, $60/each additional hour, $30/service call. I paid $164 when he was done. Aramendia gave me a quote (which included a 10% senior discount) for $450! Absolute price gouging. I will happily call Ortega plumbing for my plumbing needs from now on. Mike did a great job and was pleasant to work with.
