Deck-O-Drain: A Drainage Solution for Pool Areas

DECK-O-DRAIN is a product of Deck-O-Seal, which manufactures a line of pool deck products. A properly installed system safely and discreetly drains water away from the pool concrete deck or patio. DECK-O-DRAIN is a drainage system for interior and exterior pools. Other uses for this system include on driveways, sidewalks or other places where water tends to collect and needs to be drained quickly.
Constructed of durable PVC, the DECK-O-DRAIN system is non-corrosive and will last for many years. With the system’s unique non-directional design, there is no need for different fittings for left or right turns. One attachment can be used for both directions. The system’s flat contour profile allows it to be placed tightly against any wall or other surface. The DECK-O-DRAIN drainage system is easy to install, since no trenches need to be dug or deep excavations done. DECK-O-DRAIN can be used as a screed rail in final flatwork preparation.
DECK-O-DRAIN is available in natural colors such as Desert Tan, Stone Gray, and Dura-White. It is also offered in a Signature Series Redwood – Wood Grain Appearance. Since the system does not require trenches to be dug or expensive soil excavation, it saves time and money.
Each kit includes 100’ of 1 1/2" wide x 3 1/4" high x 10' long DECK-O-DRAIN sections, 20 nail clips and 9 couplers. Additional accessories such as cross fittings, tee fittings, bottom down adapters, "klean” outs, end caps and bends are also available.
A new configuration provides a center channel for increased drainage flow. It also has thicker walls and an interior cutting ledge for top replacement.
For safety and aesthetic purposes, promptly draining water away from pools, decks, patios and other areas is important. Because of their low profile, most pool owners never notice a DECK-O-DRAIN system in operation. With several color choices available, designers can easily make the system blend with the surrounding environment or decor.
